Examples on formatting and getting WII iso's onto a removable disk using wwt. The disk we're using in this example (sdb) is a 120GB USB drive.
Format
You must use -f to format.
wwt FORMAT -f /dev/sdb FORMAT BLOCK DEVICE /dev/sdb [112 GiB, hss=512] ** 1 file formatted.
Add
wwt -a ADD /somewhere/something.iso ***** wwt: Wiimms WBFS Tool v1.20a r1945 i386 - Dirk Clemens - 2010-11-05 ***** WBFSv1 #1 opened: /dev/sdb - ADD 1/1 [R2PE01] something.iso * WBFS #1: 1 disc added.
List
wwt -a LIST ID6 1/214 discs (4 GiB) ------------------------------------------------------------------ R2PE01 something ------------------------------------------------------------------ Total: 1/214 discs, 4000 MiB ~ 4 GiB used, 110470 MiB ~ 108 GiB free.
Extract
Copy a file from your removable disk back to your computer. This will create a wdf file that can be put back onto a disk with the ADD command.
wwt -a EXTRACT R2PE01 ***** wwt: Wiimms WBFS Tool v1.20a r1945 i386 - Dirk Clemens - 2010-11-05 ***** WBFSv1 #1 opened: /dev/sdb - EXTRACT R2PE01 -> WDF:something[R2PE01].wdf
